The Boat

The MY Miss Nouran is a sixteen berth boat. There are six twin cabins that have ensuite facilities, radio and aircon. Each room also has more than enough storage space. The other accommodation is a four berth cabin that is at the end of the dining area, next to the kitchen. Again, plenty of room, but four sharing the one toilet and shower.

The food was very good. I was well catered for as a vegetarian, and the cook was willing to prepare pretty much whatever I wanted as long as it was feasible. The bottled water, tea and coffee were free and provided on a self serve basis. There was also a large box of biscuits available all the time, again a 'help yourself' thing. Softdrinks and alcohol were charged for.

The dive kit was stored in boxes around the edge of the dive platform, and jackets and regulators were left attached to a cylinder all the time. Cylinders were recharged immediately after a dive. Two fresh water hoses were provided to rinse kit. Egress from the water is via two ladders, and there were normally two crew members to assist.

The upper decks had ample bench seating and tables for everyone. There were also a lot of mattresses for sunbathing on. The upper decks were on two levels, with the lower one providing shelter from the sun if required.

Unfortunately I don't have any decent pictures of the boat, but more information can be had at the owners own site.
